In the special women's section of the 2006 Outside Buyer's Guide, the Dunham Terrastryder Mid II was named "best fit of the bunch" for light hikers. Specially fit for women with a lower volume forefoot, cushioned ankle, deep Achilles cutout and sloping collar, it "feels more like a sandal than a boot, but still has bootlike stability."

The Dunham Terrastryder Low II was test-driven in the April issue of National Geographic Adventure in a spread featuring the latest in warm-weather travelwear.

The Dunham Terrastryder Mid II was featured on the cover of Camping Life's "2006 Gear Guide" and was reviewed inside as among the best hiking boots for the season. Editors hailed this boot as "performance oriented in an ultra-light package".

In Backpacker Magazine's 2005 Gear Guide the Dunham Waffle Stomper Terrastryder-Mid was named Best Fit for a "Light Duty" hiking boot. The review states that "the sticky rubber outsoles gripped well on slick boulders, while the cushioned midsoles warded off stone bruises and prevented long-mileage pounding."

Backpacker 2004 Gear Guide – March 2004

The Dunham Waffle Stomper Premier receives the highest honor from the editors of Backpacker, the boots were rated “Best Buy” and featured on the cover of the magazine. The Dunham Waffle Stomper Nimble also highlighted and called out as shoes that “are like a supercross bike: flashy and fast, with go-anywhere traction that handles the worst trail slop.


This Old House - November 2004

Two out of five of the This Old House professionals highlighted Dunham as the footwear of choice to wear while working on the job. Roger Cook, TOH landscape carpenter recommends the 8" Waterproof Insulated Moose because he "needs a boot that's waterproof and has a grooved tread with plenty of traction..."
